Your journey

See the classic Silk Road without hurrying through it. Longer stays, shorter touring days, and free time make this a more restorative way to travel.

This is a suggested itinerary. Before booking, we’ll agree your daily pace, accommodation, transport, inclusions, and price with you.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Days 1–3 · Tashkent

Arrive gently with a free first day, then discover the capital’s old neighbourhoods, applied arts, and extraordinary metro.

  2. Days 4–6 · Khiva

Spend three nights close to Itchan Kala, leaving room for a quiet morning and an evening walk after the day visitors leave.

  3. Days 7–10 · Bukhara

Explore Bukhara in shorter chapters, with time for courtyard tea, local crafts, and an unscheduled afternoon.

  4. Days 11–14 · Samarkand

End among Samarkand’s Timurid monuments, using the extra night to balance guided visits with time of your own.

Let’s discuss your comfort

Tell us how much walking you enjoy and whether stairs, long drives, or particular room arrangements affect your plans. We’ll discuss what is possible on this route and confirm the details before you book.

Accessibility varies between sights and accommodation. A private tour does not automatically mean every stop is step-free.

What will your quote include?

Ask for an itemised proposal covering accommodation, guide services, transfers, train journeys, entrance fees, and meals. Your proposal will identify what is included and any additional costs.
